I appreciate your writing this here, but I feel I should note that your description of sex, the "clarification" you write, is actually contradictory to some of what Thich Nhat Hanh writes on the topic. I could explain more but he does so better than I, so I will merely say that while I appreciate your views on this I think you are misrepresenting his views unintentionally, and the full version of his thoughts can be found at http://dharma.ncf.ca/introduction/precepts/precept-3.html.

I am glad your approach is in the natures way, and needless to say that almost all religions , creeds and beliefs are directed to similar ideas. Infact, the whole philosophy of mankind survival truly and gracefully is based on such theories. I will continue waiting for such like pages.

Money and sex are empty in the deepest Buddhist sense. It is the quality of mindfulness which needs to be cultivated to a high level lest these potent forces lead to corruption. In the presence of mindfulness, money is a resource for great works benefitting one and all. In the presence of mindfulness, sex becomes tantra, an expansive and inclusive blissbenfitting one and all.

May all beings be happy and liberated,

Thanks for posting these rules; they are indeed aimed at social harmony.

Your views on money and sex have a very western tinge: the thoughts that money is a powerful motivator and that's why we should create wealth, and consensual sex can be beneficial. Today's west has an idea of unlimited freedom and individuality that doesn't fit into the big picture of social and natural harmony. It doesn't really fit in with Interbeing. These points are just meant as thought-starters.

Thanks for reading.
