Confusion, Contradiction and Conflict – The Effect of a Duel Value System

We all have a DUEL value system.. Two value systems that duel for dominance. The EGO based on survival, significance, status and physical power and the SOUL based on fulfillment, unity, equality and spiritual purpose. Most lives are an expression of the battle raging inside.

The Ego makes a poor master but a wonderful instrument. Like a beast with its own intentions, and dangerous to its owner if uncaged, unharnessed or unguided, the Soul must skillfully master this human body and brain.

   Hey James,
   I totally agree with what you are saying here. The inner-battle that most of us are dealing with is coming to an end I believe.

   The soul makes for a better master in my opinion because it has a wider view than the ego/mind does.
